I’m reading A Clash of Kings and I’m realizing how many changes the series made and how those changes weakend the story. Sure, they kept a lot of the important stuff, but so many of the smaller details that make the story make sense were gone. The book so far is also much more enjoyable for the parts that were drastically changed or omitted - like when Danaerys visited the House of the Undead and how she got there.
