Her daddy had been away since the day before on some business and wouldn’t be returning until later that night. Her mammy had as usual told her little girl to be very careful when crossing the bridge, and to come home to her safe and sound. The little girl went off to school on her own and safely crossed the bridge. Her teacher later mentioned that she was a bit anxious all day about her mother.
