We got a subscription to #AcornTV so I could watch #Vera and #WireintheBlood. I love #Scotsmysteries. And we’ve been discussing canceling it but now we’ve found #CandiceRenoir, there are 9 seasons but maybe it’s lucky that only 4 are available. And in French with subtitles so you can’t scroll through #mastodon

Lived in Scotland for a year in the 80s but my only experience with #Wales is what I see watching Hidden on #acorntv and so I'm asking those of you who live there/have been there--it's not, like, all totally gray and grim and isolated, right? That's just an aesthetic choice for the show, right?

#acorntv Omg, just finished watching "Innocent" and even though I correctly guessed the killer from the start, I had hoped I was wrong. The whole thing was very well acted & composed, and omg, intense. Now I am WIDE AWAKE at 1:30 a.m. Actors you have seen in comic roles for years wring your heart out in these dramatic roles.
