When my wife proposed to me (that's right-and, she got down on a knee), she reached back to her Scottish heritage and used one of these, an acrostic poem. It took me a while to figure it out, but I didn't think about my answer nearly as long. This was my attempt at a contest.

Trying to calm my nerves I glanced at the mirror.
Unrecognizable was the face.
