I’ve read a few toots and some news articles that are claiming that GOP leaders refused to sign a two sentence statement against white supremacy. This is patently false information.

I’m not saying that I agree with their reasons but the truth is there’s more to this statement than two sentences and anyone who reads it will understand that there are reasons why these GOP lawmakers won’t sign it.
