HQ keeps assigning #activeshootertraining videos for library staff to watch. The problem is the videos are set up as if it's an office situation. Next to nothing in it is practical for saving lives in a #publiclibrary as the buildings are so wildly different in design.

The property management company of the building I work in (one of the bigger ones in downtown Indy) is holding an Active Shooter Training session that we are all encouraged to attend. I guess if my kids have to do this at school I should have to at work, but man, what a world.

US society has sort of just accepted that this is the way things are, *shrug*.

I'm not okay with it. I'll never be okay with it.
