Now seems as good a day as any to start reading this 700+ page book. I once attended an Act Up NYC meeting, I’ve marched with them and one of my friends was interviewed for this book. I think it’s going to be a challenging read to be honest but without their activism (and others) I firmly believe that treatments would have taken longer to be discovered despite the ongoing financial profits those treatments promised.
