247hrs of gameplay later, I’ve just got the #PlatinumTrophy on #ACValhalla.

I love the #AssassinsCreed franchise, they’re my absolute favourite to play and have been for a very long time. I definitely get my money’s worth out of them.

Getting #platinum on them is something I’m really quite chuffed with. If you play the #AC games, you’ll know why that is. This shit ain’t easy!

Now to tackle the DLCs. 😁

My #ubisoftplus sub is about to run out…not done with #acvalhalla. Finished the Final Chapter DLC; not done with Ragnarok. I could try the roguelike mode; I could raid…it’s strange: I have never been fond of evergreen online games, but I could just play and play this silly game. Is this what they’re putting into #assassinscreedinfinity? If so, I am (somewhat shamefully) all the way in.

Really enjoying playing #ACValhalla except for one thing, some of the children are voiced by American child actors and they have that really irritating whiny American drawl that all American kids appear to have which just grates. That’s apart from the fact that there weren’t any Americans in the 9th C, except the indigenous inhabitants of that land, none of whom spoke English and certainly not in that annoying whiny accent. All the other regional accents are very good however. 🤷🏻‍♀️#middleagedgaming

It doesn't matter how many times I give #ACValhalla a go, I just can't get into it, it's a combination of things and the voice acting is a big one of them, anyway after 13+ hours of being bored, I've binned it off. #assassinscreed I respect it's scope etc. but I just can't!

I’m calling bullshit on the the Ubisoft designers on #ACValhalla because they’ve put snakes in Ireland which is famously one of the very few countries that not only doesn’t have snakes but have never had snakes. #CrossGamerToot (full disclosure - I fell in a pit on a side quest raid and died because of the snakes) ☹️🙄

@jynersolives I’m 43 and still play video games, too —although not as much as I used to! I’m basically just on #xbox now — we have a nice PC but I don’t want to fight w/my family over who gets it. I’ve only gotten to a couple games this year:

AC is almost never-ending. I came back to it after finishing #BreathoftheWild but started over because I couldn’t remember the controls. I’ve done 2/3 DLC and not many river raids or equipment runs.
