Pomegranate Green
The pomegranate note was pleasant, if a little light. It was green tea. It's probably fine if you like a grassy, fruity cup. I prefer Harney's Pomegranate Oolong.

Rooibos Nutcracker
Three good samples in a row, and this one might be my favorite of the three with caramel, toasted nuts, and cocoa flavors. It was rather pretty, too, with the blue cornflowers.

Blackberry Sage Oolong
I don't think I'd buy this blend, but I did really enjoy it. The balance of blackberry, sage, and oolong is pleasing: the sage prevents the fruit from being overpowering, yet the oolong isn't overwhelmed by either flavor.

Almond Cardamom Cake
Finally, another good one. This blend really did taste like almond cake with just a hint of cardamom. It would be delightful with a simple cookie like shortbread or a chocolate wafer.

White Tangerine
I was excited about this White Tangerine, which smelled wonderful. Unfortunately, the aromatic citrus was only in the nose: everything was bland on the palate. I shouldn't be surprised. White teas frequently lack ooomph, in my opinion.

Cherry Marzipan Oolong. I love oolong tea, but as I've mentioned previously, I'm not a fan of cherry flavoring. Fortunately, the cherry wasn't as prominent as I feared it would be, and it mostly just tasted like a basic oolong. The marzipan wasn't really there.

This is a sample of Adagio's Double Ginger, and they're truthful: it's powerfully gingery. Even with a little honey, all I taste is that one intense flavor; supposedly, the tea includes orange flavor, peach flavor, and strawberry flavor as well, but I didn't perceive those elements. I like ginger ale, but this is a bit much for my palate.

This Spiced Green was just a basic holiday blend. That's not a criticism: I'm generally not a fan of green tea, as I find it too vegetal. In this case the usual "Here, have some orange and cinnamon" did a decent job of covering the green flavor. It was fine. I don't need to drink another cup ever again. 😀

I've never cared for yerba mate, so this Arabica Mocha was kind of a "get it over with" tea. I couldn't taste any chicory or chocolate, and it was just kind of meh.

This tea was a delicious surprise. I had low expectations, but the Honeybush Banana Nut blend truly did taste like banana nut bread. It contained no caffeine, and my husband really enjoyed it, too. We might well purchase some of this as our nighttime tea.
