If I lean hard into the Christmas teas and cookies will it make winter break get here any faster? 🙏 Anyway, today's #tea is a very festive Chestnuts Roasting from #adagioteas - chestnut flavored tea blended with Lapsang Souchong and a bit of cinnamon, which I find marvelous together. Today's #knitting is a progress update on the Wanda Vest, now separated for front & back and finished with armhole shaping on the back. Plus a delicious maple/ginger/turmeric cookie from https://sites.prh.com/lord-eshteross-maple-ginger-cookies !

Day 3
My dear friend had been getting better tea samples in her calendar than I had (Chocolate Truffle and Candy Apple were her first two bags), but I finally had a really nice blend tonight. I quite enjoyed the Cranberry Nut Muffin Green. The cranberry was a touch understated, but overall, this was a pleasantly warming cup.

Day 2 was an herbal blend called Passionfruit Tango. I didn't care for this one much. It was all apple and hibiscus - I couldn't taste any passion fruit at all. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Okay, I think I'm over #AdagioTeas. I bought the #DoctorWho fandom 9th Doctor blend which is an Irish breakfast (okay..) with.. fruit. It's just gross. Maybe I just like things dark and thick that a fork will stand up. I adore Guinness, which should tell you a lot.

The #tea I'm drinking from #AdagioTeas is called "Always Nuts." Its ingredients:

apple pieces
cinnamon
rose hips
cocoa nibs
hibiscus
toasted almond flavor
natural Crème Brûlée flavor

Verdict: It's like drinking apple strudel and I'm not sure how I feel about this.
