My wife has Crohn's, a truly horrible disease. She uses weed to cope with the pain, it helps her take less of the addictive opioid painkillers (she's prescribed dihydrocodeine, so not the strongest but) her doctor said he's fine with it & she should get it on prescription (we can't afford the upfront cost, it's a private service) her dad & aunt have a massive problem with it, we're both recovering heroin addicts & her aunt & dad think we're "junkys"

I first started taking heroin because of chronic pain & the pain clinic wouldn't give me stronger painkillers than dihydrocodeine, when they found out I was on heroin they put me on 60mg of oxy to try & get me off the H but by that point it was too late... Now the doctors are refusing any opioid painkillers even though they're the only ones that work, it's pushing me to relapse, what do I do?
