Mail ballots are due Jan. 31 -- our district's in-person voting day is past but rules vary by district. Voters have to do the extra work of looking online for the candidates' names and positions in the ballot order before using the ballot the CA Dem Party sends out, which has only numbers on it.

Finally in this year's under-publicized #ADEMElections there's a second full slate endorsement for #AD17 (and a partial slate for #AD19 ) as an alternative to the GrowSF-endorsed "Stronger Future" slate.

Amazing how many candidates are on *both* slates.

Meet Ana Vasudeo and Jamin Pursell, who I'm running for CA Dem Party delegate with.

Ana is on the Berkeley school board and also works on transportation policy, and has helped improve traffic safety and promote the use of transit, biking, and walking.

Jamin is an artist and recently ran for Richmond city council with the Richmond Progressive Alliance.
