I discovered menstrual cups when trying to find a way to manager my Adenomyosis. I thought I'd share as it's Adenomyosis Awareness Month and a lot of people that struggle with heavy, debilitating periods think that cups aren't for them. That was me, I was wrong.

Each time I venture into town & say more than 3 words to any Korean woman, I know I will have to eventually explain why I don't have kids. I found out today the best way to end or change that convo is to just say the truth about my medical condition. Either they won't understand it (due to lack of education) or they won't want to know more, because it's considered too icky a topic for small talk. Either way, I'm spreading awareness of without the need to feel offended or defensive.

I went for an MRI today so see if I have endometriosis, as I have already been diagnosed with adenomyosis last year.

I wore this t-shirt to help with my nerves. When the nurse was helping me up afterwards, she said 'What does that say, angry uterus? I need one of those, as I always have an angry uterus.'

Made my day that she could just relate to it. This is why we should talk more.
