As we draw towards new years, I find myself pretty happy with my hobby work over the past 12 months.

Not even counting other projects, I was able to successfully paint a full 2000 pt army and can "Play it painted" in 40k for the first time ever. Feels damn good! Here's to repeating this accomplishment in 2023!

Today involved actually rolling dice and playing games for once! A new local was offering to teach Kill Team 2.0, so I brought along some of the Shadowkeepers to learn with!

Ended up playing against AdMech and winning the game! While not having as much board presence or action economy as other factions, it was pretty rad having Custodians feel appropriately buff with their absurd wound and attack counts!

This week I 'ave mostly been building this Telemon.

It's only tacked to the base with a small dab of CA glue for assembly. Because I have a variety of possible loadouts I decided to magnetise the shoulder joints as well as the elbows for posability.

I used 6mmx2mm magnets, a 6mm brad pointed drill bit for centering, and a 15/64 drill bit.

Adeptus Custodes Telemon Heavy Dreadought

I'm not gonna sugarcoat this one. Sometimes you just want to field the biggest, punchiest Dreadnought in all of the 41st milennium. Could I have given him more than just the rocket pod for range? Sure. But then he'd have less punching, and that's just not acceptable.
