Re Grant Duncan’s article on Jacinda Adern (The Conversation April 5th) - IT is a pity that decency in a politician counts for so little compared to engineering tax breaks for the wealthy, turning public housing into posh apartments, selling off public assets and utilities - all in the name of supposed reform. She deserves better than a cynical overview. #Adern
"I’m leaving, because with such a privileged role comes responsibility – the responsibility to know when you are the right person to lead and also when you are not."
#Adern keeps teaching the world true—professional, responsible and empathetic—leadership.https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jan/19/jacinda-ardern-resigns-as-prime-minister-of-new-zealand
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is standing down by February 7.
