Even though I feel I've just gotten back on a roll with my Sword & Sorcery setting (actually been two months now), I now want to drop everything and resume work on my Space Opera setting instead.
ADHD&D of the Day:
I like #DarkSun, but AD&D is incomprehensible, 3rd Ed. is way too complex, and 5th Ed. has no psionics.
But I think #Dragonbane could be a fun game system for an Athas campaign with a bunch of custom spells.
ADHD&D is striking again.
To stoke the creative fires and get me excited about continuing with my worldbuilding for #Kaendor, I've been imagining what kind of world I might have created back in 2004 if I then had the experience and stylistic preferences I have today.
Which had me get out the old D&D 3rd ed. Monster Manual II and Fiend Folio again. There's plenty of fun stuff I never got to use, like abeils, ethergaunts, and kaorti. Those could all be very pulpy. 😄
I kind of feel like I should be doing more work on my fantasy setting #Kaendor instead of my space opera setting #IridiumMoons, as it's the far better candidate for my next campaign that I can start this summer, I've already been working on it for such a long time, and it's the focus of my main website.
But when did that ever stop me?! 😆

ADHD&D of the Day:
I'm about to start creating towns and dungeons for my next campaign and Shadowdark is looking quite interesting.
ADHD&D of the Day
Another campaign idea I worked on for a few weeks a while back and then never pursued further:
A Planescape campaign centeres around the Beastlands, Ysgard, Pandemonium, Carceri, and Gehenna, because these halfway planes never get any love in D&D. The general plot I had in mind involved the Anarchists, Bleakers, Doomguard, and an arcanaloth all hunting for a gigantic sphere of annihilation.

ADHD&D of the Day: D6 Star Wars
Revan and Bastilla have destroyed the Republic fleet at the Star Forge and conquered half of the Outer and Mid Rim. After returning from the Unknown Region and starting a new war that is destroying the empire that Bastila build, she destroys Revan's ship and retreats her fleets to Sith Space.
Knowing betrayal by her apprentices is inevitable, she seeks to find the ancient Sith power with which Marka Ragnos held the Sith together.

(but I also REALLY want to run that space opera campaign!)
ADHD&D of (a previous) day:
Had this idea before I started this tag, but still want to share it.
With Half-Life being out for 25 years this November, I want to run a short mini-campaign about scientists, technicians, and guards trying to escape from Black Mesa. The Alien RPG seems like the perfect system for such a game as it already has everything you'd need but a few of the monsters.
Being a single adventure by nature, this one I really want to try making happen.
ADHD&D of the Day. (Actually an idea I had over a year ago and did some actual work on already.)
A retro-futuristic Space Opera campaign inspired by 1920s styles, in which space travel is primarily motivated by Iridium and Paladium mining. Space nobles are families of industrialists running planets like company towns, whose agents are sabotaging efforts by independent miners to form refining and shipping coops, and avoid dealing with the barons and get better prices.
It's every other week that I get a new ADHD&D idea for a new campaign that would be really cool to run and which I am really into for a day or two.
But in the end, it's always my own Morrowind/Barsoom style Sword & Sorcery setting in the mesozoic forests of Kaendor that I keep coming back to.
After three campaigns over the last nine years, this is the one that I never get tired of for long.

ADHD&D of the day:
An #OSE survival sandbox campaign set in Dark Sun.
Food and water are hard to come by in the desert and sources get constantly attacked by raiders or dangerous monsters.
Important supplies can be found in cities, but they are crawling with Templars recognizing the PCs as outlaws.
To keep both their lives and their freedom, the players have to constantly be on the move between shelters and water sources.

ADHD&D of the Day:
"A Blades in the Dark campaign set in Avernus or Meridian, or some other major city in Nosgoth. Instead of ghosts, the main supernatural threat is vampires."
