Trying to shift into work mode, with no success so far.

Hi my #ADHD friends. If you’re like me, you probably have a list of things that you *must* do eventually, but you will probably *never* do, because it has fallen into the abyss of Too Much Effort To Do Right Now But Not Urgent Enough To Make Time For It Today.
Do yourself a favor: pick one item from that list, and do it today. Make that call. Send that email. Fill in that form. Clean out that thing. You’ll feel so much better after you do it.
Today, I called my vet and scheduled my dog’s next routine checkup appointment.

Can't decide what to eat, so you get a left over piece of pizza. When putting the box back in the fridge, you knock out a container of blueberries. You put the pizza on a stool while you clean up the blueberries. You get them all and put everything back. You walk away until an hour later you remember your half eaten pizza, still waiting for you on the stool.

I'm not looking for a solution that's going to change my life. I have accepted that eventually all apps, organizational systems, etc., etc. will all lose their effectiveness, but I would love to know what's working for you RIGHT NOW whether it's an app, a planner, a routine or ...

I need to get back into making typefaces and designing self directed projects. I need to update my portfolio. I need to learn how to market the stuff I do have available (new album 3 weeks ago? Old fucking news). I need to learn how to turn the easily abandonable slog into a reliable dopamine factory and move my career ahead a bit. Which career? I dunno, but one of 'em for fucks sake.
I need to cut tags from gear.

I miss my gloves. I remember I put them somewhere they would be visible, however that place was not where they belonged. One day I will find them, serendipitously. #ADHDproblems

My brain without meds works like a Linux system with every process running in Ring 0, possibly reacting to every SIG, spawning and intermittently doing busy-wait on all cores.

With that question alone, even if I reply "No.", you've broken my concentration, and before I find it again, I either have to focus on you and your problem, and then re-focus on my task.
Or fight the feeling of guilt for refusing to help you until I have freed mental capacity to continue my work.
That is, if I even remember what I was working on before. Chances are I have to look for clues around me what it was, and not get distracted.
Either way, that "minute" will "cost" me at least 15 minutes, depending on my mental state.
But yes, I got a minute, how can I help you?
