I recently saw a tiktok from a person selling minimalist themed home organizing tips. They claimed to even have one specifically for ADHD folks.

As they gave some eg of solutions in the package, I knew immediately that this person did NOT have & they also didn't understand how it works at all

I would love to live the minimalist lifestyle, my clutter stresses me out. But their suggestion to only have 1 mug in the house was proof to me that it was a scam. IYKYK

And my takeaway is - I see myself in all of it, and I can finally give myself grace for being as I am, but most importantly I feel proud of being me.

Deep joy, I forgot to take my meds today and am stuck working away from home … cue itchy weird anxiety belly, head looping round in a million thoughts - none of them focussed, an unquenched desire to do EVERYTHING in my brain now, so much doodling and moving about and massive alcohol cravings to quieten my brain … oh, and look at my jumper yay Totoro!

I have my gp appointment today for adhd. Hoping to get a referral. I either have it or I’m insane, so here’s to hoping that I have it. I spoke to a guy yesterday about it. He said his gp advised him to score Ritalin from the uni students as it would be much easier than getting help through the nhs. So not sure how much hope I have about it, but all advice welcomed 🙂
