Native English speakers naturally list adjectives in this order:

1. Opinion
2. Size
3. Age
4. Shape
5. Color
6. Origin
7. Material
8. Purpose

So we can talk about a gorgeous small old concave blue Italian ceramic cooking pot, but not a concave old Italian blue gorgeous cooking ceramic small pot.

According to Mark Forsyth's "The Elements of Eloquence," adjectives usually go in this order before the noun they modify:

Opinion
Size
Age
Shape
Color
Origin
Material
Purpose
