Though I am a physician and usually write about geriatric and psychiatric topics, my undergraduate degree was in English & Creative Writing, so I found the following fascinating.

According to Mark Forsyth's "The Elements of Eloquence," adjectives usually go in this order before the noun they modify:

Opinion
Size
Age
Shape
Color
Origin
Material
Purpose
