The others were forced to take sides, but by then they'd all been trapped inside the System they'd been building and the conflict was unavoidable. Hence the desirability of surveys in addition to administrative data. I will concede that #election #administrators in #England would be unlikely to bias recording and/or reporting of numbers turned away in the way that those running some other public organisations can be expected to. Nonetheless there seem likely to be voters who discover that they lack #id and simply stay away. This will show up in the #turnout as it did initially in #NorthernIreland under a similar system.
