After updating to 1.6. rc3. I had to resubscribe mastodon.social to get their toots back in the global timeline. Same for other instances that are already upgraded.

Shouldn't this be automatic?

I hate it when searching on Google or DDG or whatever, that I receive results from e.g. 2007. And there are enough more recent results. In Google you can at least set a date range. If #DuckDuckGo wants to be taken seriously by us geeks, they should add this too.

I wish there was an #admin option to suspend those 0% activity accounts automatically after e.g. 2 weeks. #admintalk
