Today is #nationsiblingday & many of us on #adopteetwitter who are #adopteevoices don’t know if we have siblings, we may never have met them, we may not speak the same language, and it is another human right that was taken from us. Knowing who your family is a #humanright.

Not only were both individuals who created me alive at the time, but the woman who gave birth to me also had family. She is still alive. The idea that #adoptees are orphans is usually untrue.
