131 Years ago today my opa was born. He had a hard childhood in a very large family where the children were put up with uncles & aunts in the country. He was not very tall with portly tendencies, like me, and was an amateur photographer, like me. But unlike me, he was one of the first in town to own a car. He worked his way up in the family grocer's business and was able to pay for two of his four sons' university ed. Here he is ca. 1920.
