I had to take my roommates daughter to school one day when she missed the bus. The mom went to workout at the gym early in the morning. She instructed her daughter to come to me when she needs anything without asking me first. A 10 year old shouldn't be negotiating school and rides by herself. She shouldn't be left alone either but is frequently left alone since there are so many adults in the home. #adultification #parentification #childhoodneglect #childabuse #ACE #mother #daughter
