Whenever, the special talent comes up, kid has two attempts instead of one to beat me in rock, paper, scissors. Sometimes we also use tokens for tracking hitpoints or extra attempts. It‘s fun, because you can play #AdvancedSchnickSchnackSchnuck during long walks etc. Kid says that using rock, paper, scissors is as much fun as using dice. #ttrpgsForKids 2/2

I like to play #ttrpgs with my kid (8). #MausRitter is always an option, but usually we simply play what I refer to as #AdvancedSchnickSchnackSchnuck (Schnick Schnack Schnuck = Rock, Paper, Scissors). If a task can go wrong (jumping over a chasm, dodging), we decide the outcome by playing rock, paper, scissors. Before starting the game, my kid creates his character by defining one or two things his character is particularly good at (spellcasting, hiding, you name it). 1/2
