Re: speeding, we solved that in #AdventureRacing by having people cover lots of ground on bikes, foot, or paddling.

Would be more fun over RF, but then difficult if you don't have the right gear or a license.

Original idea of APRS-IS is that anything on there should be able to be legally gated to RF. Thoughts on that? #APRS

@metalegg another version of #orienteering with checkpoints and punches is "#adventureRacing," which is usually multisport and spread over a longer distance. The goal is more endurance than fine navigation. I've directed several AR races.

Would love to incorporate #ARDF, but family has taken priority over race directing for the last several years.
