That time Simon the Sorcerer made it into the bedroom 🤣

Now it covers up my Yamaha Tyros4 keyboard and provides a nice backdrop when I'm on camera in daily meetings. Always a good talking point along with the Displate posters.

Ahh Simon the Sorcerer boxed version.

I have the original DOS version on CD, but haven't got the box anymore. Like many people I would imagine, years ago I had to make room and chucked away a lot of the game boxes. I only needed the CD and casing right?? Retro regret!!

So when I saw this over at adventuresoft.com/ for the Windows 95 version I couldn't resist.

Simon the Sorcerer released in 1993 and featured beautiful artwork, especially as you explored the forest area. Many characters to find and puzzles to solve.

It was fascinating to watch the animated wildlife that would swoop in or pop from behind a bush only to run off back into the scenery. The butterflies dancing around the flowers and the birds flying across the screen. It was these touches that made it magical.
