What are the #gtk4 #gnome #adwaita video players you guys are using? I tried multiple in the past but non very recently and I want to see what the best option is. I would love for it to have a playback speed option and to continue playing the video at last played timestamp

Thanks to Bilal Elmousassi, #GNOME's in-house design tooling has received some subtle, but welcome improvements! The new #Adwaita widgetry makes it possible to create some stunning interfaces, but there's also a lot of smaller changes in this cycle that I appreciate a lot.

Für #Gnome Nutzer gibt es ein schickes #Thunderbird-Theme, dass dem E-Mail Client ein #Adwaita-Outfit verpasst.

Sieht nicht nur hübsch aus, auch die Schrift passt sich besser in die Optik ein, als es die Standardinstallation vorgibt. Am besten einfach ausprobieren:

@RL_Dane It has nothing to do about libreoffice, but about your comment about desktop environments that should help program get that sort of things.

In #adwaita, for instance, the preferences window can be searched automatically for options

Un truc qui me plaît beaucoup dans les directives de conception d’interfaces pour les humains de GNOME, c’est pour les icônes :

« On sait que vous êtes nuls en dessin, donc faites au plus simple (et utilisez un max d’icônes en noir et blanc) »

Pour un développeur d’interface utilisateur débutant comme moi, libadwaita est une petite révolution. C’est tellement plus facile à utiliser que gtk, quand on n’a pas une idée précise de ce à quoi l’interface doit ressembler.

Sometimes I find it very hard to know how to look for/describe #GNOME bugs. I could use some help with this one. It's a bug in #libadwaita as I can trigger it both in GNOME Files and GNOME Settings. I just have no clue how to describe it. I think searching on "dialog" might be too narrow of a search, and I also don't know what to give as extra info (platform, version...). I can't seem to find it in the gitlab repo, which surprises me as it's such a major regression...
