Tonight’s headphone music: Aerial M, As Performed By Aerial M (1997). A lovely, gentle post rock album by David Pajo, formerly of Slint and later to go by the moniker Papa M. Pajo’s guitar playing is a huge influence on mine, especially in his ‘M’ guises. Restrained, sparse, not at all showy - every note feels considered and necessary.
