Ich habe derzeit einen von Interstuhl, und da ist die Sitzfläche nach zwei Jahren schon sehr unbequem.
Aeris Swopper habe ich auch schon versucht, ist aber nichts für mich.

My office in the new house is a little smaller than the old one so I'm having to do some fairly brutal downsizing - that said, my new Herman Miller Aeron arrives in a couple of days .... the office is smaller but I don't have to slum it

@aw I'm not an expert on chairs but I have an #aeron.

Before getting it I sat on various no-name chairs, some worse than others. None of them got me past the seven hour mark in a day. I would experience discomfort and/or pain eventually and was forced to stand at times (perhaps that's a good thing though).

I can sit on my #aeron for ten hours without considerable issues.

As you said, though, it is very restrictive. Sitting cross-legged is absolutely out-of-the-question.
