Looking at #WimWenders films is filling me with painful waves of #nostalgia for a slower, more aware and #aesthetic world. The #impressionist #hd techniques he used in Until the End of the World for dream sequences are beautiful and evocative. The influence of #ozu in terms of framing and still #photography makes Wenders' best work so powerful. Now we are lost in a domain of weaponized #images ...we are drowning in #content

It kind of spoils the #aesthetic fun of exposed #cybernetics & #cyberware when you consider how much sand and dust is a problem without some sort of flexible protective covering over joints.

One can definitely mess with transparency but having nothing at all without some sort of mechanism to prevent foreign object intrusion is just asking for trouble.

Working on a piece about #cryptidcore, an #aesthetic. The whole aesthetic idea is foreign to people 30+ yrs old because it's based on fashion and lifestyle influences from various internet platforms. Aesthetics reflect and are informed by media, fashion, and interests.
