Pale ale with cinnamon and vanilla? Sounds revolting. … tastes great. Not overly sweet and tastes like a proper beer, only juicier. Are there any more innovative brewers than Mash Gang for NA beer?

After 16 months since my pre-order, my Mash Gang's AF Anxiety Saint has finally arrived (only half what I was expecting mind). It is a damn good coffee stout.

I’ve been looking forward to this one. For an NA beer, this is a really good attempt. They’ve captured a lot of the marzen flavour and almost got it right, there’s just a back note of wortiness on the finish. Not bad. Part of the @afbeerclub beer club box last month.

I don’t know how you can pack this much flavour and body into an alcohol free stout. Toasted coffee and chocolate flavours in abundance. Amazing.
