Disney Plus has some surprisingly good Australian women's sport content. Have just discovered the #Matildas road to the Women's World Cup series "Matildas: The World at our Feet".

Nice timely recap of the trials and tribulations the team has faced, with attention on the players and their families.

There's also an #AFLW docuseries. Nice to see some Aussie content on an American streaming service.

So why isn't that the case when the players are women?

Right now, there's all this supposed concern about women's sport that some people profess to have as soon as trans women are mentioned.

Yet at the same time women's sport continues to be played in front of smaller crowds, in smaller venues, with far less media attention and coverage, for significantly less money.

And, no surprise, most of the bigots never seem to say a word about it.
