i find #Afrezza really helpful, too, for those rapid corrections.
(Mostly because scar tissue/ hyperlipotrophy makes my #tandem's boluses so slow- no effect for at least 2hrs!)
I'm still struggling with the #CIQ "driving style", though. Been trying it on sleep from 5pm-7am (my endo's idea) but still having problems at night (bcuz the target BG setting you mentioned).
I think i have to go back to using exercise mode at night. (=target BG at 140)
