#onthisday in 1941, a conference was held in #Rome to discuss the challenging supply situation in North Africa. As a result of this conference, a document was produced that set out the monthly supply requirements of the #afrikakorps and #german forces in #northafrica. This is a very useful document as it puts the supply struggle into a clear perspective, and #WW2 in North Africa cannot be understood without understanding the #logistics of campaigning there.

On 11 November 1941 an Order of Battle (Kriegsstärkenachweisung - KStN) was produced for the #Afrikakorps Division z.b.V. Afrika (Special purpose division Africa), which just over two weeks later was to become the much more famous #90thlight 90. leichte Division.
