I couldn't go on with (recent Nobel prize winner) #AnnieErnaux #LaFemmeGelée (#AFrozenWoman), even though I found excellent other books by her (#AMansPlace about her father, #Happening about #abortion for a #teenager in the 1960s, before legal contraception and abortion in #France ).

The previous one was #ABurntChild by #StigDagerman. Although I can enjoy books where all the feeling is hidden under a thick social reticence (eg #Kawabata's #Kyoto), I feel a complete stranger there.
