I just saw an "epic romance" casting call for women age 20-30 and men age 35-45.

I feel like storytellers, in print and film, think women over 30 turn into creatures of fungus and dust who only emerge at night to read feminist literature and brew foul potions.

Which we do. But we also have epic romances.
