Canada is once again considering a federal "ag-gag" bill, of the kind that his been passed in many states and provinces (and often ruled unconstitutional, though we can't depend on that in this case, since, y'know, 1A doesn't apply).

Activists are a threat to the meat industry not because they spread disease—the industry can do that just fine by itself—but because they reveal what's happening in these facilities.
