@bbak the original #AgileManifesto was all about humans, but since unregulated #capitalism destroys it’s own foundation, we are at the point where we are today.

You ask why I make it personal? Because I suffered a lot under people who with good will and a theoretical reality distortion field thought that their way to define how to work had a positive impact on the people around them.

The "certified" #agile BS is a creativity killer.

Interessanter Beitrag, der die #Werte des #AgileManifesto mit den doch sehr sportlichen Begrifflichkeiten und den in ihnen steckenden Metaphern von #Scrum vergleicht.
Man sagt, das bei einem Konflikt zwischen Zielen und Werten die #Werte gewinnen. Ich hoffe, dass sich alle Nutzer der agilen Methode auch ihrer Werte und nicht nur der Produktivitätssteigerung bewusst sind.

Found out this evening that I've been selected to speak at this year's #AgileOnTheBeach!

I'm going to be slowly developing the talk while on maternity leave. (I'm back from leave once it's conference time.)

Thankfully, it's based on training I've delivered before at my job, so I'm not making it completely from scratch.

It's about how to be a better writer and communicator at work, tying these skills back to Agile and the Agile Manifesto.

The #AgileManifesto serves the same role as a #MaturityModel. It's not useful as a benchmark so much as a source of ideas on what to improve.

"Are we more or less effective?" is a more useful question than "Are we consistent with the #agilemanifesto ?"

But be aware: it only gives you ~10% of what a team or any organization needs for making a positive difference!

Deine Thesen haben für mich ein Ungleichgewicht, in dem der erste Teil meist allgemein und umfassend daherkommt, der zweite einen kleinen und konkreten (vermeintlichen) Gegenentwurf beschreibt (Ausnahme #4).
Ich denke, dass beide Seiten der Medaille gleichwertig gedacht werden müssen!

J'ai toujours détesté le 2ème principe du #AgileManifesto
Beaucoup de gens l'interprètent comme "mieux vaut se concentrer sur un logiciel qui marche que de faire une documentation propre et exhaustive".
C'est le cancer à maintenir sur le long terme.
