The raw scans of those tree stumps (from the previous post) looked so good. There's a point where when you begin removing polygons for game optimisation you really lose the essence of the scan. Now though I could go mad and throw this straight into UE5 with nanite. #agisoftmetashape #metashape #photogrammetry

Here's some woodland scans I made for the unreal engine store, they were pretty popular but I didn't have the time to keep them updated. It was very interesting to do though. I used what is now Agisoft Metashape and Blender 3D. Blender was fantastic for optimisation but this was when there was nothing to do delighting effectively with. Photogrammetry has moved on now.
