These programs aren't creating anything, they're stealing it from hard working and most likely struggling artists- who get cyber bullied when they fight back. AI generated visual products: nope, not for me. I've even filterd it out of my Masto feed.

BtW I'm not a purist, I use #digital tools to colorise my pencil #drawings. Painstaking work, mind you.

But mining other people's art, from alive or dead artists, is just really sh!itty.

I get that completely about #aiart. It's been intriguing to me learning how to write prompts to interact with the art generators. It also opened up a more creative outlet for me. I don't usually pull specific artist into my prompts & if I do I believe it's proper #aiartetiquette #aiartethic to attribute the artist in finished work.

#emergence of #aiartgeneration : Ai art generation servers are everywhere & have been trained on human created art, I believe it's only fitting the artist alive or dead be given attribution not only on a "hidden" prompt but also in public.
