Had a fun time at in New Orleans. First time back since 2017. It is surprising how reenergizing it is to talk with folks who know what you work on (esp. for those of us who teach in gen ed depts). Was great to talk . Nice to see some old friends and meet some new folks too. Lots of food for thought.

@briancroxall @kfitz This is beginning to sound exactly like the paper I'm going to give tomorrow for and at . I guess it's in the air. One of my suggestions vs."the structures" is more digital and data literacy in all of our courses...and echoing several things @electricarchaeo has been saying for a while about not being afraid to fail trying to change the system.
