Wow, shots on goal in the second period was 25-5 lightning’s way. Your average game gets 10 shots on goal per period. And lightning went from 2-1 down at the start of the period to 3-5 up. #AIHL #LIGvSID

Adelaide Adrenaline beat the Melbourne Mustangs, which locks my Sydney Bears in to the top of Hellyer Conference! No play-in match next weekend, we’re going straight to the finals in Melbourne on the 26/27th! #AIHL #AIHLFinals

Sydney Bears @ Brisbane Lightning #AIHL on the TV, Chiefs v Crusaders #SuperRugbyPacific GF on the iPad. Both matches start at roughly the same time.

Interesting night in the #AIHL.

Top of the ladder Bears got their second loss of the season at the hands of the Thunder.

Bottom of the ladder Rhinos got their first ever win of the season.

Melbourne Ice who are in the bottom half of the ladder defeated Brisbane Lightning who were looking like contenders towards the top.

There’s still a lot of season left and we’re getting some unexpected results. Anything can still happen.

This is very much NOT the Northstars team that has come up against the Bears these last few years. They’re giving Adrenaline ridiculous amounts of space & time. Playing very half-heartedly compared to what I’m used to seeing from them. #AIHL #sportsball
