Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) confirmed the agency had launched 16 drones at an airfield in Russia’s Kursk region overnight.
The source said that the drones destroyed four Su-30 aircraft and one MIG-29. An S-300 complex radar and two Pantsir missile systems were also hit.

Digging through my various links of historic aviation information and realized I haven't shared much on that here.
For this topic, I focus on the Northern Nevada section of the Transcontinental Airway System so these links are the ones directly to the Reno information. If you don’t know about this, in the early 1920s to mid 1930s, a system of large concrete navigational arrows and (later) lit beacons guided pilots across the United States to deliver mail. While many of the beacons and arrows were destroyed due to the war (recycle the metal and prevent enemy pilots from using the system), there are many that still exist. I like finding them.
These first links are to the Library of Congress archive of aeronautical strip maps (https://www.loc.gov/maps/?fa=segmentof:g3701pm.gct00064/&sb=shelf-id&sp=3&st=gallery) and sectional aeronatucial charts (https://www.loc.gov/resource/g3701pm.gct00089/?c=160&sp=32&st=gallery) really helpful in locating where beacons and arrows are/were.
This link is the 1921 pilot's guide when flying along the route. Fun seeing what landmarks still exist 100 years later. http://www.archivaria.com/PilotDirections/PilotDirections2.html
Finally, here is a site that details abandoned and little known airfields. Some of which were in service during the 1920s-1930s so the webmaster includes photos and charts for those specifically. http://www.airfields-freeman.com/NV/Airfields_NV_NW.htm

An unnamed adviser to the government of #Ukraine on defense issues said that the drones were not made by #Ukroboronprom, and they were not advanced Soviet devices. This private company can "frequently" produce such #UAVs.
