Airthings sensors are almost literally lifesavers.
Discovered that having the door closed in the bedroom was likely restricting airflow. Saw this occurring consistently at night due to a Wave Mini.
High VOCs may cause unfavorable symptoms like headaches, so glad to have figured it out and will never live somewhere without VOC and radon sensors again.

Epic: Magnus Carlsen beats Hikaru Nakamura's armageddon bid by one second. Magnus bid 8 min 58 secs while Hikaru Bid 8 min 59 secs. That's less than nine minutes against 15 minutes. Talk aboud winning the pregame psychological battle. #Airthings #Masters #Chess
I set up AirThings finally and the data it returns is amazing.
Mainly bought it for the VOC monitoring when 3D printing.

@Ringtheory I assume AirThings has this dataset. It would be a fun dataset to play with.
#AirThings, are you on here? Would you consider releasing some anonymized data?
So, I have a Home Assistant setup and connected to Airthings Wave Plus. It has been working for a couple days.
However, today the HA was showing it unavailable. The Airthings app couldn't connect to the device. Followed troubleshooting steps for the Wave without success. Finally, I restarted HA and the Airthings app immediately synced.
So, my guess is HA was somehow blocking it(?) If anyone stumbles upon this post and has any suggestions, I would appreciate that.

@keyboardsurfer I have 5 tracking device from my former employer (#airthings) installed in my apartment and I tend to work where the air quality is good π.
For tonight's Home Lab fun, I set up a Grafana dashboard pulling data from InfluxDB/Home Assistant to display temperature and air quality metrics.
My office is toasty since the door is shut, and I've got my server and desktop running in there. If I open the door, it'll cool off quickly. Doesn't get much hotter than 80 so far, thankfully.
Sensors include: SmartThings Multipurpose (for temps), AirThings View Plus (for Particulates/radon/etc), and Honeywell T10 for humidity.

Got an Airthings View Plus for my living room. Figured it'd be a good purchase just to track levels.
So far, I can tell when someone burns popcorn in the microwave based on particulate matter, so that's hilarious.
On an annoying side, the radon levels use 2 different measurements. In the app/website, Airthings uses pCi/L measurement. But, the measurement exposed to HA is Bq/mΒ³, which is a bigger number comparatively. Def threw me for a loop trying to figure out why there was a 100x difference between app and HA.
