#AITA for refusing to watch the Australian series of #TheTraitors? Watching the international versions of everything waters down the original for me.

I need to stop cause too many of these AITA accounts are designed for “bad faith” interactions. Only telling the beginning of a story so folks will leave comments or go to the accounts profile page searching in vain for the rest of the story.

My Tictocky has been a lot of retold Reddit “Am I The Assh*le” stories for me lately and I need to stop. The stories, and they do read like stories, ie fiction, have been interesting. Updated folktales of the smarter powerless person getting one over on those in power. I need to stop cause my feed is now multiple accounts telling the exact same popular stories.

If you want to understand the importance of boundaries and respecting other people’s boundaries, #AITA is the place for it. Seems like the vast majority of posts are either people unable to understand why people are mad after they ran roughshod over someone’s boundaries or someone being concerned they’re being mean for maintaining their boundaries.

@AITA If I were Sarah, I'd be uncomfortable knowing anyone was "making sacrifices" to attend. Who knows how her plans are harming multiple people's financial wellbeing? She shouldn't be making this a test of friendship.

After some time following the #AITA bot here, some people need to communicate with their SOs more, but mostly people have no idea what toxic behavior is, no matter which end of it they’re on.

Am I the asshole if I tell my wife I will never fix our printer ever again so I can get her to stop wasting printer just to sign a document and scan it back.

This is with the knowledge I bought her an iPad and Apple Pencil to do the exact thing but quicker and more environmentally friendlier.

I use an ad blocker. Occasionally I visit a page that pops up a notice saying in effect, "We see that you're using an ad blocker. We depend on ads to avoid charging subscriptions. You can support us by turning off your ad blocker."

On the one hand, I like these sites and want to support them. On the other, I never click on ads. Never. If I turned off my ad blocker, I'd hinder myself without helping them. So I don't turn it off.

Am I just rationalizing? #AITA?

Once thing I'm learning the hard way, is that if you decide to help PhD students, somehow, for some reason, they stop processing by themselves altogether. I helped in the past, so I don't know if I grew grumpy or phd students changed.

You tell them how to find a door, but then they come to say if _this_ is the door, then if I know how to open it, then whether they should walk through that door.

As happy as I am to help... I have also other things to do FFS. A bit frustrating really. #AITA ?
