The watchword of the next decade will be "veracity" and, as you foretell, we'll have to build an infrastructure of editors/curators/networks to vet origins of content.
There's a subtle distinction, though, we don't need to screen for "humanness" as much as sincerity/veracity of intent. A WikiGPT is fine if it isn't polluted w/ credible-sounding AI gibberish & propaganda.
