Listening to akron/family’s “Love Is Simple” on a terrace looking out across Santorini into the Agean Sea as the morning sun climbs towards midday heat.
The birds chirp madly along and a hen is squawking with appropriate abandon over on the next hill. A horse sighs and stomps in the dust beyond the wall behind me.

The world is a mass of chaos threatening to fly apart at the seams.

At this moment, as the album’s title chorus echoes through the terrace, I’m okay.

Some idea just installed itself in my mind that I should re-listen to the album 'Set 'em wild, Set 'em free' by #akronfamily. It was a splendid idea. I remember seeing them live in cologne on that tour and it was a great experience and probably the smallest concert I've ever attended. They indeed were wild and free.
