On this day in 2020, #AlanMerril died. He was among the first wave of deaths that ravaged New York City during the COVID pandemic. Written in 1975 as a response to The Rolling Stones 'It's Only Rock 'n Roll'. It was later popularized by #JoanJettandtheBlackhearts,
