I think we’ve solved The Case of the Mysterious Nighttime Medication Pump False Alarms! It was Dave’s unused but plugged in CPAP machine phoning home with diagnostics at night.

@wheatnoil I have gas in the motorhome. When that sucker goes off, it wakes the dead. Unfortunately, being an RV, it needs batteries since I'm not always plugged in to shore power. I'll have to check all the alarms tomorrow.

I was looking forward to having a good night's rest before Christmas Eve (which is when I celebrate the holiday, in part because I picked that tradition up in Europe, and in part, because it gives me an extra day - Christmas Day - to relax and enjoy the food and gifts!).

But as it happens, the smoke alarms throughout my house decided that at 3 AM they were going to begin chirping to indicate I needed to change all the batteries!

That took awhile to re-figure out. Last time I had a new tablet (the now defunct #SlowLoris ) I decided to consolidate all of the #notifications, #ringtones, and #alarms so that each device could use the same sound for the various apps, so as reduce confusion.

Simple enough to do, but this time around I forgot where to look for them on each device.
